my short life!!May 12 my resoultion? .........sports! Well, my journey to get phisically ready has begun. Since I cleared out my head from affairs, I can focus now, in my life. It´s gonna be tough! I mean, most ppl when they train, they go for loss of weight, I, on the other hand, want to put on weight! I need 15Kg more in my body, you can simply have a look at some of my pictures n u will underdstand..
I went for a run, the other day, I managed to run 6.98Km
In other news, i haven´t moved to my own studio flat, I´m waiting for it to be available in about 6/7 weeks time, so i´m really hoping to move down there soon, so i can have friends coming over, dinners at Xi Wen´s place, and fun!
Birthday is coming, again, no parties this year will be done.. I´m not a celebration guy, don´t even know how to do it, but one thing is for sure, I´m not working!!
I´m off today, so it´s time to get out of here n go do some sports!! March 03 @ Kensington Place Restaurant- war between kitchen and front of house staff!!!Do i always have to be right??????
There´s a war going on between the waiters and bar against the kitchen!
Since D & D London took over our small company, there has been big big changes, examlpes such as money, food, atittudes, bullying, racism, so on so on~~
I, just like many others that have worked there from before the D&D came have been very upset with all this, though, only I and a colleague of mine are making sure that such changes cannot come into place there! A few weeks ago, during staff dinner, one of the sous-chefs came out of the kitchen and TOOK slices of bread from our table! What world is this that the kitchen comes n gets the food back?? They told us that we could only eat yesterday´s bread.. But that´s not all, food reduced n changed dramatically (porridge almost every lunch, or sausage/bacon in that supermaket sliced bread and some scrambled eggs....) cheap-and-low-as-possible-kind-of-food!!
Anynway, as they did that, i, obviously got pissed off with them, and my reaction a couple days ago was, not giving them a drink after the service, so i had an argument with one of the chefs where he told me i wouldn´t get any more food at all!! (i kept on giving them drinks every day after that),it was simply to make a point that i too can be cruel~~
Yesterday morning i had to throw away 17 whole breads into the rubbish bin, coz nobody ate them... (can u imagine~?)
Not only that, today i was refused to eat the staff food, bcoz of my decision the other day.. another argument i had to have with the same chef, but this time i was already informed by legal professional consellors, where i was told that this kitchen cannot do what they r doing for many reasons. i had to tell that to the chef, and i promissed he would get into trouble due to his adventure with the wrong ppl! i´m too tired of this shit to take anymore from them.. i´ll sue them, i´ll get my compensation(whatever it may be) and then, i´ll quit!! i have way better chances of going up somewhere else, where they value u for ur work, then being at this junkie place as it is today!!
now eat this suckers!!!!
October 17 to be or not to be 2:Well, to be or not to be, definitely is not to be, I am not to get married anymore, i don´t have a girfriend anymore, didn´t quite understand why, but we broke up..
please correct me if i´m wrong, but, i´m an assistant bar manager, i work alot, due life being expensive in london (where i live), i´ve been trying to save up some money, so i could go to Taiwan, to visit YAYA one more time. My company, was sold to another company, therefore ways of payment changed.. the hours of work are the same but, they changed also slightly.. we r a busy restaurant, so i cannot answer the phone everytime i want.. i try to, but i can´t_silly or not, i believe that was the reason for us to break up! she got drunk tonight and she told me she didn´t need me anymore, last week, we had a fight because of it (the phone calls) whenever i can, i try to answer the phone, and she knows it very well! Now, i think there´s more to it than just the phone calls, i truly believe that, this is the most ridiculous way or reason for breaking up, anyhow, that was her excuse...
since i got ready last week to do it, i´m very calm right now, though it hurts, coz i fought for this girl for 3 years to be and share my life with her, the girl that has hurted me twice in the past and i did forgiver whatever the lies she said to me..
Now, more details are not needed coz there aren´t any, so back to the the top, correct me if i´m wrong, should i try to go after her again or should i pack my broken heart glue it all together and move on? i think so...
this...... this is my life...... July 28 to be or not to be??? Hello my ppl!! Still glad to read visit my page?
I´ve got mail for you all!!! Yes, so that u know, i´m getting married in February next year!! hmm, where will it be the wedding ? Taiwan. I´m looking forward to go and talk to my future family in law, nervous, shy, all freaked out actually (sorry babe, can´t help it)
To those who know already, thank u for ur support, including family, friends, and foreigners
I, more than anyone else, am supporting this wedding a lot ^^
all in all, what i have to say is thank u to everyone!! and if u have any questions, just give me a buzz~~
_manu December 03 Chinese Dragons The Chinese dragon is a symbol of wisdom, power, and luck in Chinese culture. Unlike Western dragons, oriental dragons are usually seen as benevolent and kind. Dragons have long been a symbol in Chinese folklore and art. Temples and shrines have been built to honor them. Through the symbol of the dragon, many Chinese see divine attributes which they aspire to themselves. In fact, the Chinese are sometimes referred to as "descendents of the dragon." The dragon is held in reverence and respect in Chinese culture. It is unseemly to defile a depiction of a dragon. Dragons are referenced by several Chinese proverbs. Chinese dragons control the rain, rivers, lakes, and sea. They can ward off wandering evil spirits, protect the innocent, and bestow safety unto all. They are called lung or long in the Chinese language. They fly in the sky among clouds. Most pictures of Chinese dragons show them playing with a flaming pearl. Legend has it that the pearl gives them their power and allows them to ascend into heaven.
The Legend of the Carp says that a carp able to leap over the mythical Dragon Gate will become a dragon. Many have sought out the true location of this Gate, but none have found it. Several waterfalls and cataracts in China are believed to be the location of the Dragon Gate. This legend is an allegory for the drive and effort needed to overcome obstacles. PhysiologyChinese dragons have serpentine bodies, four legs, and are usually without wings. They are said to be a composite of various other animals-the body of a snake, the antlers of a deer, the talons of an eagle, the soles of a tiger, the scales of a carp, and the eyes of a demon. It is said that Chinese dragons have 117 scales. They are usually depicted with four toes. In the traditional symbol of the emperor, the dragon is depicted with five. In Japan, dragons are depicted with three toes. TypesThere are nine types of classical Chinese dragons. They are as follows:
November 23 Jade Dragon And Golden PhoenixLong, long ago, there was a snow-white Jade Dragon, living in a rock cave on the east bank of the Celestial River. In a great forest across the river lived a beautiful Golden Phoenix.
